Five-Card Draw Poker : Five-Card Draw Popularity

You know, as big as Texas Hold’em is today,
I got to say, I think most adults playing poker now, were introduced to the game at
some point in their life, by the game Five Card Draw. I mean, if people say poker, before
the advent of internet poker, and the boom of the world series on cable, I think most
people thought about, when they heard the word poker, Five Card Draw. That said, it’s
a good game to have in your repertoire, because unlike community card games, community card
games are Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and stud poker. In Five Card Draw, in most variants,
you have almost no information. There is no direct information about what your opponents
are holding, because there are no community cards, no face- up cards, and therefore, you
have to have a read on your opponent. Therefore, Five Card Draw is more of a skill game, more
of a reading game, than say Texas Hold’em, so without further adieu, lets’ get to that.
Let’s play Five Card Draw.
